Mrs. Tigest is a member of the Cafe Imports/Lulo Small Farmers Project, which helps ensure transparency and allows producers more control over pricing and contracts. During harvest season, ripe cherries are carefully hand picked, sorted, and then placed on raised beds where they are turned and dried in the sun. This style of processing (called “natural”) generally yields a complex and choco-fruity cup. We love it when we find naturals like this one - sweet, balanced, and not overly zingy.
