We’re wrapping up the volume pricing beta program for retailers on December 31, 2025. This article explains what’s changing, how this affects your brand, and what your retailers will see as we close out the program.
What’s changing?
We’re ending the volume pricing beta program on December 31, 2025.
Retailers in the test group who earned volume pricing discounts with your brand (i.e. spent more than $5000 with your brand in 2024 or 2025) will continue to see those savings automatically applied at checkout through December 31, 2025.
Starting January 1, 2026, volume pricing discounts will no longer apply. Instead, Faire has issued brand-specific Faire credits to eligible retailers based on their 2025 spend.
These credits can be used on future orders with your brand through December 31, 2026.
All credits are fully funded by Faire, there’s no cost or payout change for your brand.
What do retailers see?
Retailers continue to experience a seamless savings transition.
-
Through December 31, 2025: Existing volume pricing discounts continue to apply automatically at checkout.
-
Beginning December 1, 2026: Retailers who qualified for volume pricing in 2025 now see Faire credits in their accounts that can be used toward future orders with your brand. These apply automatically at checkout.
Each Faire credit reflects the savings they earned in 2025, plus a 20% bonus as a thank-you for participating in the beta.
This approach allows retailers to continue benefitting from their relationships with your brand while we transition out of the program.
What does this mean for your brand?
There’s no action required from your brand.
- Faire funds all savings in the form of credits, which are processed and paid out like any other order.
- Your pricing, invoices, payouts, and full payout amounts remain unchanged.
Retailers will see their brand-specific credits listed under your brand page and in their Faire accounts.
What if my retailer has questions about their volume pricing savings with my brand?
If a retailer asks about their volume pricing savings or Faire credits, let them know that this was a Faire-managed program and that Faire is handling the transition directly.
You can reassure them that their existing discounts continue through December 31, 2025, and that any discounts they unlocked will be honored with credits which are issued and funded by Faire.
If they need more help, direct them to Faire Support, who can answer any questions about their savings, credits, or eligibility.
Why is the program is ending?
Volume pricing launched as a beta program to help us test new ways of rewarding retailer loyalty and driving repeat orders.
Since launch, we’ve learned a lot about how retailers engage with savings programs, but we haven’t seen the results needed to continue the program long-term. We’ve decided to end this beta at the end of 2025 and will continue exploring other tools to help you strengthen long-term retailer relationships.
Do I need to do anything?
No. Faire is handling all discount transitions and credit issuance directly.
Will retailers still see savings with my brand?
Yes. Retailers who unlocked volume pricing tiers now have Faire-funded credits that apply to future orders with your brand through December 31, 2026. They will also be able to use their existing volume pricing discounts through Dec 31, 2025.
Who funds the credits?
Faire funds 100% of the credits — your brand isn’t charged or impacted financially.
Can I offer my own volume pricing or discount programs?
Yes. You can continue to set up brand-funded promotions directly from your Faire portal at any time.
What’s next?
We’re committed to helping brands like yours grow through new, more effective programs that encourage repeat buying and retailer loyalty.
As we sunset volume pricing, we’ll continue to invest in initiatives that make Faire the best place to build lasting retailer relationships.
