How often am I billed for using Promoted Listings?
We automatically charge your payment method on file on a recurring monthly basis. Your invoice will be available on the 4th of each month and includes charges incurred for the previous month. If you start or stop advertising mid-month, you will receive an invoice at the beginning of the next month for the prorated charges incurred while your Promoted Listings were active. For example, if you stop advertising on June 18, your invoice will be available July 4.
What currency will I be charged in?
Promoted Listings charges are made in the following currencies, depending on where you are based:
- USA: USD ($) All promoted listings charges will be in USD.
- Canada: USD ($) – All promoted listings charges will be in USD.
- Europe: Your local currency (e.g. EUR €, GBP £), or your shop currency if it differs from your local currency.
Why can’t I link my bank account I use for my payouts?
The bank account linked to your Faire account for payouts uses a different payment mechanism to the one required to charge you for Promoted Listings.
In some European countries, the local currency is not EUR, which means SEPA direct debit — the method we use to debit bank accounts for Promoted Listings in Europe — is not available.
If your business is based in Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you will need to use a credit or debit card as your Promoted Listings payment method instead.
How do I view an invoice?
To view an invoice, follow the steps below:
- Go to Account settings
- Select the Billing tab
- Under the Billing history section, select an invoice to view
Your monthly invoice includes a breakdown of total clicks and total cost during each time period while Promoted Listings were active.
