How Faire works

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace that connects independent brands with local retailers. Brands can list their products and set wholesale prices, while retailers can discover and shop from thousands of brands all in one place. We make it easy for small businesses to connect, buy, and grow together — with features like flexible payment terms, free returns on opening orders, and personalized recommendations.

Faire is free to join for both retailers and brands.

Retailers don’t pay to create an account or browse products. They simply pay for what they order, and if they qualify, they can use Faire’s payment terms to order now and pay up to 60 days later. Retailers can also choose to join Faire Insider, a monthly membership that costs $19.99 after a free trial. Insider gives retailers free shipping on thousands of brands, making it easier to discover and reorder from brands they love.

Brands also join Faire for free and only pay a commission when Faire brings them a new retailer customer through the marketplace. The commission is 15% on all marketplace orders, plus a $10 fee on the retailer's first order. Orders that come through a brand’s Faire Direct link are completely commission-free. To process payments, Faire charges a small fee that depends on how quickly a brand wants to be paid—faster payouts come with slightly higher fees.

Overall, Faire’s pricing is built to be simple and fair: retailers can explore and shop with no upfront costs, and brands only pay when Faire helps them grow their customer base.

To make trying new brands easy, Faire offers free returns within 60 days on a retailer’s first order from any new brand. This means retailers can explore new products without risk. For repeat orders, each brand sets its own return policy, which retailers can review before purchasing.

Faire operates across the United States, Canada, the U.K., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Retailers can shop from brands worldwide, and brands can choose where they ship. We’re continuously expanding to connect more independent businesses globally.
