Inventory sync is a feature that lets you connect your Shopify inventory with Faire, based on your inventory locations.
If you want inventory levels in Shopify and your other system(s) to update every time a Faire order is placed, you will also need to turn on the order sync setting.
How do I turn on inventory sync?
To turn on inventory sync:
- Go to the Integrations tab and select Shopify.
- Select Faire: Sell Wholesale from your Sales channels.
- Choose Preferences.
-
Within the Inventory sync section, select Turn on.
- This setting will default to using all locations.
- Select Manage locations to choose which location inventory is pulled from in Shopify.
- Choose the location and select Save.
- Select Save at the top of your screen once you've made your setting selections.
Why isn't my inventory syncing?
Your inventory may not be syncing if the product or variant isn’t linked, or if you do not have the correct location listed for the inventory to pull from.
Here are some steps you can take to allow your inventory to sync:
- Check that the product on Faire is linked to its Shopify counterpart. The Faire sales channel must be turned on in Shopify for the product to link. You can manage this from the Product linking tab in your Faire Sales channel in Shopify.
- Check that all variant options for the product are linked between Shopify and Faire. You can manage this from the Product linking tab in your Faire Sales channel in Shopify.
- Our integration will pull inventory from all locations selected as inventory locations. Check that you have the correct locations listed. You can adjust locations in the Preferences tab in your Faire Sales channel in Shopify.
