Juniper Berries are the key flavoring in gin. They have a wonderfully piney taste, much like rosemary, but are more resinous and with citrus overtones. Juniper is commonly used with lamb (or mutton) and is particularly good with venison, wild boar, and even domestic pork. Do not take if pregnant. Consult doctor before any use.
