These tomatoes are at their full ripening between the summer months of August and September when they are harvested, attentively sorted, sieved, and cooked with a pinch of salt at low temperature into a smooth sauce with rich texture and bright red colour. Coppola Passata is made from fresh tomatoes, no concentrate, and no puree. It is made with no sugar, no sweeteners added, and it is free from artificial flavours, thickeners, or firming agents.
