Inspired by flavors from the land of spices, Tasting India’s products showcase the versatility of spices across global culinary traditions and helps elevate your everyday cooking. A James Beard Foundation Grant Recipient and a Jean Banchet Award nominee, Chef Jasmine Sheth is the founder of Tasting India, a Queer and Woman owned business based in Chicago. Through a line of micro batch spice blends, they share rich and vibrant flavors and bring ethnically diverse culinary experiences to YOUR table. Tasting India was launched in March 2020 with 1 spice blend and since then has grown 10x, offering a culinary treasure hunt that you will always win! Their handcrafted spice blends include half a dozen spice blend varieties, an Indian Chili Crunch, authentic Masala Chai blend and a South India Cardamom Coffee blend. Tasting India has been featured on Chicago’s WGN network’s Daytime Chicago show, Oprah Daily’s list of best Birthday Gifts and NPR Radio among others. Tasting India’s mission is to shatter the stereotypes that have plagued Indian cuisine; and showcase the versatility of spices across global culinary traditions. Their vision is to create a community of empowered Spice Adventurers, from novice cooks to proficient flavor fanatics.
