OUBAS was founded in 2012 to produce knitted clothing and accessories using only natural fibres in the UK. We set up a micro factory in 2021 and all of our knitwear is designed and made by us within the OUBAS studio situated in Ulverston, Cumbria. We combine heritage with modern knitting technology to produce traditional ‘fully fashioned’ knitwear, meaning each piece is shaped to fit with very little to no waste. We are an all-female team of four, and are proud to be part of the regeneration of the British industry.

Our story started when, we, Gabriela from Ecuador and Lewis from the U.K, crossed paths in the colonial city of Cuenca (Ecuador) and found themselves emerged in the unique weaving skills on display by the local artisans. Since 2009, Chinti & Parker has been dedicated to creating collections which aim to enliven and invigorate women’s wardrobes with knitwear that celebrates joyful colour, timeless shapes, and innovative texture. The brand was founded in London by Anna Singh and Rachael Wood; cousins who were looking to fill the gaps in their own wardrobes by designing the fun, high-quality knits and everyday essentials they couldn’t find elsewhere. Both self-professed knitwear obsessives, Chinti & Parker combines Anna’s more boyish, refined style with Rachael’s love of bold colour and wit. With an inherent understanding of what women feel – and look – good in, Anna and Rachael have dreamt up a label with an irresistibly playful spirit. Though forward-thinking in its vision, Chinti & Parker holds time-honoured knitwear techniques and impeccable craftsmanship firmly at its core.

The company is Franco-Peruvian, the result of an invention of a couple, he from Nantes (Alexis), she Peruvian (Flor).

Every garment we plan on releasing will be made to order or small batch produced! Meaning that it is much better for the enviroment, as there is no excessive waste. All clothing designed at ByRedmeg will be made from natural, recycled and/or vegan fibres! Our aim is to move away from fast fashion, releasing a much smaller selection of garments per year, which will not be seasonal and will therefore be available all year round.
