About Mister Parmesan

Mister Parmesan is what happens when a professional pasta maker thinks to themselves... "What if there was a hat that said 'Spaghetti' on it". Founded in 2021 by Samuel Schiffer, a 12 year veteran of the LA food scene, Mister Parmesan is a clashing together of food, apparel, pop art, and mid century design that you get to wear on your head. Our products are designed, sourced, and embroidered in small batches. We work with other small businesses locally in Los Angeles, CA and are committed to doing business locally and ethically. We operate on a production to-order model. You place your order and we make it a la carte. While the result of this is a longer lead time, it allows us to offer our entire catalog at once rather than just what we're able to keep on hand. We appreciate your patience with this system as it's proven to be the best thing for our growing business. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

French Knot

French Knot is a sustainable knitwear brand that partners with Nepal. French Knot was founded by designer, Lindsay Mason in Sturbridge, Massachusetts in 2012 and follows fair trade practices by paying its artisans a living wage. The brand believes that responsible sourcing and handcrafting can create beautiful products that not only endure, but also celebrate talented women artisans, time-honored craftsmanship, and sustainable practices. Quality is an important measure at French Knot. Winter accessories are sourced from 100% lambswool and high-end mohair to ensure every piece is velvety soft and enduring. The wool is then spun and dyed by hand, a traditional process that produces little to no emissions - emphasizing both lasting quality and social responsibility. By mixing beautiful patterns with warm and cozy yarns, French Knot accessories appeal to women of all ages and also last for generations to come.

Witchwood Bags

Witchwood is a queer, one woman, run small business. Molly is the owner/designer/maker/artist/marketer/customer service/you-name-it! Molly has a studio in both sunny southern California and dreary Portland, Oregon and splits her time between both to give her different perspectives and inspiration throughout the year. All items are all vegan and hand printed individually. Witchwood is always putting out new designs, so please check back frequently! Witchwood now has a retail location at 2236 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232! Molly broke into the fashion world in 2009 with her very own vintage clothing store, that she still runs til this day (in addition to Witchwood). Her hobbies include strolling through cemeteries after a fresh rain, taking care of her special needs furry children, expressing her experiences through tattoos and pretending she isn't as awkward as she really is.

Storied Hats

For years, we tried to find hats without logos. We didn’t want our foreheads to feel like a billboard. We kept hearing from others who felt the same way. That’s why we started Storied Hats. We put our customers and design first. Our logo is nowhere to be found. But we wanted to take things further and create a company people can be proud to wear. We infuse values in every detail of the business. We source all sustainable materials, we partner with nonprofits in our Belief Line, and our hats are made by people paid a living wage and treated with the dignity. Our US and China manufacturers are WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production) accredited. This might sound a little grandiose for just some hats, but shouldn’t all companies use their resources and platform for good, and to treat people and our planet with the utmost dignity? Shouldn’t consumers have the option to spend their money on products that align with their values? We think so. That’s what we do—make great looking hats from quality materials, without logos, with values.
