The Alica pasta factory produces high quality artisanal pasta. Founded in 1992, Alica is a family business located in Basilicata, in Southern Italy. Its production is based on three main characteristics: - The use of the BEST PROTEIN-rich DURUM WHEAT SEMOLINA, 100% of ITALIAN ORIGIN, mixed with SPRING WATER to give flavor and hardness to the pasta; - The use of BRONZE TILES that make the surface rough to ABSORB any type of seasoning; - The COLD PROCESSING OF THE MIXTURE and the SLOW DRYING PROCESS AT LOW TEMPERATURE, to keep the organoleptic characteristics of the grain intact; Currently, the company has a wide range of products: - CONVENTIONED LINE packaged with an elegant package of white and blue paper. Include classic, special and regional forms; - ORGANIC LINE created for the most health-conscious consumers, in a renewed graphic design. The line includes organic Senatore Cappelli, organic whole wheat and organic spelled. The company is attentive to the environment: the production plant uses certified green energy and the packaging is made of recyclable paper. Our products are distributed only in gourmet shops and in the best restaurants in Italy and abroad.
