In January 2022 I started the ‘Keto’ diet and really cranked up my nut intake. The ‘Parm Crisp Snack Mix’ may have been my ultimate favorite snack, but aside from the convenience I knew I should make them at home to use even better ingredients. Being health conscious on what food we consume in our household has always been front and center. Fast forward to middle of summer 2023- I got a wild hair to make my own! At first I bought some of my favorite seasonings from Trader Joe’s to make sure it would taste the way I wanted! It worked! Just for fun a couple friends came over and convinced me I should start selling them. Of course I laughed and said “for real"?!”. It escalated pretty fast after that and within 1 week ‘Northwind Nut Boutique’ was licensed. At that point I knew I could make my own seasonings and use healthy oils (avocado and olive oil). Not only are these nuts AMAZING, but they also give you that filling feel without the guilt. If you love a quick snack, but have that busy lifestyle that almost forces you to eat unhealthy- this is exactly what you need! There are many visions I have for the growth of ‘Northwind Nut Boutique’, but for now my focus is to share my favorite snack and hope you come back to keep filling your pantry, car, boat, ATV, backpack, snowmachine, camper, ALL of the things!
