We are a small family farm nestled into the Feather River in Northern California. We are the fourth generation of our family to grow walnuts on this land! Now, we're sprouting our walnuts and building a community of health-minded people just like you around our delicious sprouted walnuts. Sprouting a walnut removes tannins and acids that often make a walnut bitter and "sharp" tasting. The sprouting process, or "activating" process, also releases bound up nutrition making the superfood walnut easier to digest and more bio-available. We know our land has been fertile for a thousand generations before our family arrived, and we are making decisions today in how we farm with the next thousand generations in mind. We are seeking to be ecologically integrated and soil-first farmers -- always looking for a better way forward in the more-than-human world in which our walnuts grow and we live.
