Bread & Butter is a wheat-free bakery, using ancient processes like sourdough, brining, and fermenting to make the most delicious (& nutritious) food. Brining is a cooking process to make nuts digestible--with just filtered water and French gray sea salt. After soaking overnight, they are slowly dehydrated for about 24 hours, until perfectly crispy. Finally, they are flash roasted to bring out their full flavor before buttering them without any additives, flavors, or preservatives. There is residual salt left in the nuts after brining, but none has been added during final processing.
