About this product

MATERIAL: Cotton, yarn and beads Height: 11" x Diameter: 4" NOTE: Due to the fact that these are handmade, no two are exactly alike. Not suitable for children under 3 years as they pose a choking hazard. The Ndebele are among the smallest tribal groups in southern Africa, but are easily the most colorful and distinctive. Over the years dolls played an important part in Ndebele culture. During courtship, a suitor would place a ceremonial doll outside a young woman's hut, indicating his intention to propose marriage to her.
