We collect the fresh watermelons directly from the farmers during the watermelon season in Central Asia, which is from July to September. We carefully select the local farmers that are growing watermelons and ask them to deliver us the fresh watermelons on a weekly basis, to make sure that we dry only fresh watermelons. We contribute local farmers directly, instead of buying in big bulks from bigger companies. From an average watermelon, we get about 50 grams of dried product. When looking at one small package of our premium dried watermelon you need to imagine that it is literally the average watermelon in it.
