This American Ginseng art print was created from a scan of an herbarium specimen that was ethically sourced during an anti-poaching operation. By cutting the leaves after seeds mature, known ginseng patches are hidden before the start of the digging season which prohibits their destruction by unscrupulous diggers. Normally the leaves are discarded and the berries scattered. This particular original specimen was pressed to serve as a teaching model for government agencies and this print is available for you and your customers. Like all my prints. this piece is created by scanning a real pressed herbarium specimen giving this the look of a real pressed plant that pops off the page. You'll notice your customers running their finger over the images to feel for a 3rd dimension. This print comes packaged in a compostable cello bag with a backing board for structure. It does not come with the clipboard.
