100* 100 cm cotton veil fabric coupon printed using the “Block Print” technique. Made using carved wooden stamps, the patterns on these sails use an ancient technique of printing using wooden blocks. Characteristic of Indian fabrics, these represent interlacing of flowers and foliage. This technique involves small imperfections in the print but also a return to an artisanal technique and the promotion of the natural gesture.
