Our little Babycakes Sock Kits are great for experienced knitters and beginners alike. We include a fully detailed knitting pattern and 25g of premium merino yarn for experienced knitters to make a sweet little pair of socks for a special baby in their life. But we also use this exact pattern to teach new knitters how to construct socks.....it's a perfect introduction to sock knitting because all the elements are included and the miniature version (one sock) can easily be completed within a 2 hour class. Your students will learn to work in the round and gain experience with the trickiest part of making a sock; turning the heel. They'll have enough yarn leftover to complete the second sock as practice when they get home. Each bundle purchased will contain a random variety of yarn colours.
