The San Francisco Local Foods Wheel shows what's in season and local within about 150 miles of San Francisco, from Sonoma to the Delta, to the upper part of the Central Coast, and, of course, in the Pacific Ocean! Some of the unique local foods available in the region include Dungeness Crab, Oysters, avocados, and an abundance of citrus fruits. The Bay Area is also notable for its year-round growing season! The wheel is 12 inches in diameter printed on card stock in bright, full color by a green printer in California. On the back of the wheel is an alphabetical seasonality reference that provides additional information about each of the foods depicted on the front. The wheel comes in a lovely and sturdy recyclable sleeve. Please note that the wheel is *packed* with information, requiring us to make the text quite small. Those with average vision should be able to read the text, but it could be difficult for those who struggle to decipher small fonts.
