These delicate silver earrings are inspired by the coastline, the sea and rippling onto the sand on the shoreline, the pebbles trickling amongst the sand and the years of layers on the weathered cliffs. The rustic colours and texture of the wonder that is nature. I’ve created the dappled and mottled effect by a technique jewellers call ‘reticulation’, where the silver metal is heated to create an organic textured reaction. Lovingly hand formed from start to finish, the squares of silver are then attached by a small hole which secures the piece in place on the silver plated earring hoop, and ensures your earrings stand the test of the time to be lovingly worn over and over again.
