At the root of Krama Heritage, it is a very strong attachment for Cambodia that can be found, as well as the vision of a brand that we wish to be full of humanity. It is in Cambodia that everything starts. As a cultural scarf worn for centuries, the Krama is run through with Cambodia’s soul, its curves mirror the values of its country. It is one of the rare heritages that still bring together the Cambodian society, it is largely worn in the city as in the countryside. Our first raison d’être is to contribute to Cambodia’s cultural influence by having the Krama discovered throughout the world. From its conception phase, Krama Heritage was designed as a brand with a mission. It is our will of engagement for Cambodia that gave birth to a brand that had to carry within a large-scale social project for the country. We have decided to situate our help at two levels : alongside weavers and craftspersons working in dignified, ethical and fair-trade conditions and perpetuating an ancestral savoir-faire, this is the One scarf, One skill project. It appeared to us fundamental as well to bring help to the new generations thanks to education, and that is why we have been supporting the NGO For a Child’s Smile from the begining : this is the One scarf, One smile project. A brand at the service of the human being, this is our second raison d’être. Krama Heritage is finally a brand that we wish to be as generous as universal.
