They have a wrinkled, irregular, black skin, have an intense flavor with herbal notes that make them perfect even if only cooked and consumed with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Black chickpeas are rich in vitamins: B, C, E and K. In addition, unlike the common version, black chickpeas are particularly rich in iron. Our black chickpeas are known as “Black Pearls” because they are recognizable by their characteristic shape and color.
