Lakshmi produces the carbon for Khol Kajal from pure demeter ghee in their own facilities in Hohenlohe. Carbon binds toxins and pollen, thus prophylactically protecting the eyes from inflammation and allergies. In addition to ghee, natural oils, beeswax, camphor, and carbon have a cooling and clarifying effect on the eyes, making them shine. The Sensitive varieties contain no camphor and can also be used during homeopathic treatment.
