Each hank weighs approx. 100 grams / 3.5 oz. and measures around 190 meters / 207 yards. This new color of Viscose is part of our Fall/Winter Collection 2022. Discover the seven new colors that we added to the collection, all inspired in Pantone colorstory "Balancing Act"! They perfectly grab the subdued and elegant atmosphere of the 50s: muted pastel tones with lots of glass and wood when seen in interiors and architecture. Viscose was the first manufactured fibre. Unlike most man-made fibres, viscose is not synthetic. It is made from wood pulp, a naturally-occuring, cellulose-based raw material. It's relatively inexpensive and a renewable resource, but its processing requires high water and energy use. This yarn is spun on a manually operated machine.
