The Denim rug is the epitome of recycling! Jeans are produced and worn all over the world so it makes sense to use the left-over fabric. Denim off-cuts are gathered and cut into thin strips before being reworked into a hard wearing rug with a finished cotton edge. These lovely products are hand woven on traditional flat looms by skilled artisan weavers. The result is a simple flat weave rug around half a centimetre in thickness. This makes them ideal for placement under furniture as well as in an open room. Look out for the authentic GoodWeave label as an assurance that your rug has been ethically sourced from within a closed network of high quality producers. The rugs are reversible and they can be rolled up or folded when not in use. They can be shaken, or spot cleaned and should be fine for a gentle hand wash in cool water. There are four sizes to choose from; small, medium, large and a long runner. Please note that the rugs may vary slightly in tone and pattern.
