Liz started her natural hair journey and product formulating while getting her degree in Biology and working in Oncology. The more Liz learned, the more she found herself wanting to help others by giving hair advice to patients, friends, and anyone else who would listen. One fateful day at work, after realizing a Cancer patient's desperation about the loss of her hair, she gave the distraught patient advice on her hair loss journey and how she could help her get through it. Her face simply lit up! That's when Liz realized how important hair can really be, especially to women and women of color. In that moment, she felt certain she was on the right path. She decided to create products that would give people clean, unique options to help embrace their natural locks, grow long, healthy curls with manageability, and boost their confidence in the process.
