In January of 2000, I took my 3 month old baby to the doctor to see what was on her face, hands and legs, it was eczema. They gave me the usual, steroid creams and ointments with ingredients I could not pronounce to put on my brand new baby. Something about that just did not sit well with me. Steroids on an infant? I immediately began to research a natural alternative to give her relief from the itching and cracking skin that she had all over her. When I could not find one, I made one, Cocobuttery. I blended Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Coconut Oil together and applied it to her twice a day and her eczema was no longer visible or irritating her. Over the years, my daughter has used Cocobuttery to keep her eczema from flaring up.
