Maker / Scholar is over-the-top art made by a busy brain. I'm a Boston-based artist designing unique greeting cards and gifts to celebrate the everyday. I'm a one woman show here at Maker / Scholar with a lot of emotional support from my rescue dog, Butter. COVID rekindled my love for sending snail mail, but it was hard to find cards that really struck the right chord. Maker / Scholar was born during my team at Harvard Business School where I used some markers and a lot of watercolor paper to stay sane throughout Zoom classes. Fun fact: a Baker Scholar is a student at HBS who graduates with top honors. A Maker / Scholar, on the other hand, is a student at HBS who graduates with a rekindled love for doodling and a Shopify account. My cards are a bit spicier than your typical stationery - please check out my inventory to add something special to your greeting card lineup!
