You will not find Celtic Connection in supermarkets, major pet supply chains, or online superstores. We work with small to medium, independent, brick-and-mortar Pet Supply shops and garden centres. I’ve always been passionate about the health and comfort of animals - it’s what led me to become an animal osteopath and physiotherapist. After seeing many of the animals that came through my practice struggling with health, digestive, and mobility issues caused by food, I decided to do something about it. I created my recipes by combining my expertise in animal anatomy with my experience with ancient Celtic remedies and cures. I started with lots of real meat, fish, or poultry from freshly prepared, ethically farmed sources. I then added a mixture of healthy fruits and vegetables and functional herbs to help restore and maintain natural health and vitality. I also included therapeutic amounts of glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM, to keep joints comfortable and organs functioning at their best for a long, active life. All my recipes are also free from soy, chickpeas, lentils, maize, rice, and white potato for a healthy heart and to prevent blood sugar spikes that can lead to diabetes. I also avoided gluten, grains, and fillers since these can cause inflammation, stiff joints, and digestive problems. My patented recipe formulation method makes them nutritious, delicious, and ideal for sensitive pets. This food is a labour of love, made for people who love their pets.
