I designed the Snuggle Shield™ before the world was hit with Covid. I brought my 6-week-old son to the nail salon and quickly realized the cover I was using gave me a false sense of protection. He was covered, but nothing was protecting him from the fumes. I searched for something to buy that would cover him and protect him and found nothing that protect infants in their car seat or while breastfeeding. As a nurse my first thought was to design a cover that used medical mask material as it is breathable and proven to protect. I wanted the cover to be cute and functional with the option to use the filter/mask when needed. The Snuggle Shield™ is the only luxe all in one cover that provides protection for infants. Our patent pending design has a pocket on the front of our soft and stretchy covers for our removable medical grade filters. Our filters are made from the highest quality 4 layers of level 3 surgical mask material. The material has been tested in the USA for breathability and bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE 99.8).
