Usually working in a creative agency for other businesses, ELKE is a place for designer and artist, Elke Gill to be free with her work. Her pieces range from industrial, yet delicate jewellery to silk headscarves and art prints that showcase the colourful inner-workings of her brain. ELKE's jewellery pieces are inspired by land and are true to the raw beauty of the Australian environment. It's the contrast of the hand-drawn elements with the industrial precision and intricate nature of laser-cutting that draws people to her pieces. Working out of her home based studio in Northern NSW, Australia, Elke ensures up-most care is taken when it comes to sustainability. The machines Elke uses are powered by the sun, the collections are slow, small-batch and the business gives back where we can.
