Maven Apothecary started out of a basement in 2005. Twenty years (and a brick-and-mortar location) later, we maintain our focus to use quality ingredients, mix, and pour & slice our goods by hand. We aim to connect with our customers by sharing a passion for artisan crafted, small batch self care products. SOAP DISCLAIMER: Our soaps are made by hand in small batches, using the cold process method and only the finest ingredients. PLEASE NOTE: Bars are cut at approximately 6.5 ounces when the batch is fresh (the day after pouring). As the soap cures, it can lose up to 20% of its weight due to climate conditions, making the finished bar weigh around 5.2 - 6.5 ounces. These soaps are hand poured and hand cut, so please allow a bit of grace on finished bar size. Due to the handmade nature of our soaps, no two are exactly alike. That being said, there's no guarantee that the soaps you buy from us will look identical to what is pictured. Patterns and colors are subject to change from batch to batch.

But through faith and perseverance, Melissa discovered a calling hidden in her trials. Forced to craft her own soaps to protect her skin, she found not only healing but a deep passion. What started as a necessity transformed into a purpose—creating handcrafted, natural skin products that meet the needs of those who, like her, struggle to find solutions for skin allergies and chemical sensitivities. Melissa credits her creativity and success to her faith, viewing every recipe, scent, and product as a testament to God’s grace and glory. Poppy California is a women-run and Indigenous-owned lifestyle brand featuring handmade incense + bath gifts that are made ethical, slow, and dreamy for gatherings, festivals, and everyday ritual. We source from local farms, member owned co-operatives, and most of our ingredients are organic. All packaging materials are compostable and/or 100% post consumer recycled and no plastic is used in any of our wholesale offerings, packing materials (unless up-cycled) and consumer packaging.

La Bouquetiere began her illustrious career in San Francisco in 1990 under the loving, creative, and watchful eyes of Mario Salas, her creator, and founder. Her residence was on Sutter Street, a block away from Union Square. She began as a boutique with beautiful, in-house, hand-made preserved and dried flower arrangements simultaneously with exquisite wares worldwide. She was also a home. A kitchen/dining room, living room, bedroom, boudoir, nursery, and salle de bains were all filled with marvelous treasures. Mario shopped mainly in Europe for the “Little Girl” (which she is affectionately called). He met many engaging and amazingly talented people who started him on the journey that led to this sublime world of French Fragrance. While working in Spain with “Vila Hermanos,” the famous (since 1903) Natural Bees Wax Candle manufacturer, he searched for fragrances to add to the candles. He discovered that the world of perfume is complex and deep, requiring mentoring and study. Therefore, he went to Paris to study at the House of Fragrance, which began in the reign of Louis XV. What subsequently followed was the creation of all of her fabulous French Fragrances. First came to her Body and Bath Care Lines (in collaboration with his lovely sister Lady Mejia), followed by her Laundry and Home Care Products, Soy Candles, Teas, and Parfums.

ABOUT ME I'm Lucy a single mum from Bristol, I’ve had a love for the earth and all things nature my whole life and as I’ve got older my awareness of single use plastic feels like it’s on overdrive. Every time I use or throw away a piece of plastic that has barely been used I feel quite angry that it hasn’t yet been replaced by a better solution. I looked into what I could do as an individual for solutions in my own home. I use bamboo toothbrushes, make my own cleaning products, use loofah for washing up and hemp cloths for cleaning. Most of my sons clothes and toys are second hand and I make do and mend anything that I have the skills to repair and upcycle. One day I decided I wanted to focus my time on eco friendly products and so Naturally Evergreen was born! Since I began just over a year ago I have discovered supplying products to stockists and shops is where I want to really grow naturally evergreen. I’m always looking to improve and evolve and I’m excited about this journey into my plastic free future. I hope to expand my product range as I learn more and I hope you can join me on the adventure Lucy

Hi! I'm Jane and I am based in beautiful Perthshire, Scotland. I began making soaps as a hobby, which then grew into learning about other body products and, over the last few years, this has grown into a small business making handmade, small batch products, from a range of Cold Process soaps, to Sugar Scrubs, Glycerine Soaps, Bath Salts and Lip balms to name a few. My family and friends have been, and continue to be willing testers for my products, giving useful and honest feedback - my children especially! I love that I can create useful, fun and luxurious products from home, and yet know that I am using good quality ingredients to cleanse, exfoliate and nourish the skin. All of my products are fully cosmetically assessed and compliant with current EU and UK Cosmetics regulations. All are fully labelled and compliant with UK Weights and Measures Act, and current labelling requirements. All and any reportable allergens are fully listed on product labels. I try where possible to reduce waste, and re-use and recycle what materials I can, from packaging to leftover product at the end of a batch. I try not to use plastic, however, sometimes price, hygiene and practicality take over, so I try to make sure that where I DO use it, it is as recycled or recyclable as possible. Always looking for more ecologically friendly ways to work!

However, very quickly we discovered just how versatile bakslap is. Today, you'll find it being used with beauty and tanning lotions, gels, sunscreens, indoors and out. And by hospitals, dermatologists, for aged care and as a mobility aid. Our team is based in Queensland, Australia. OUR ROOTS: Root Natural is a brand based in Florida. Root Natural Soap began after its founders, Kayla and Nikki, learned that lots of companies were making "all-natural" products that were actually full of harsh chemicals that can irritate the skin. Inspired by our love of nature and the outdoors, we started making soap and skincare products. We set out to make all-natural soap with natural scents that weren't artificial smelling. Many of the woodsy or nature scented soaps on the market were too strong smelling and usually targeted only towards men. Our mission was to create vegan, natural products that both men and women (and those with sensitive skin) could enjoy. Root Natural Soap is handcrafted in small batches in the USA using all natural ingredients. All of our products use packaging that reduces waste and promotes recycling. We never use harsh chemicals or fragrances. A portion of all sales proceeds are donated to environmental non-profits.
