gestalten continues to actively reimagine the way in which we approach publishing. With our extensive range of titles, we not only seek to enhance and to enrich our reader's lives, but to continually engage with the surrounding creative landscape. Our origin story began with a focus on the aesthetic, particularly that of graphic design and, over the last two decades, the scope of both our content and our expertise has widened. Today, using a myriad of observations of culture, people, art, and other intimate, inspirational informants, we document and anticipate vital movements in architecture, visual culture, design & fashion, escapism, food & beverages, travel, and contemporary art. In 2014, Little Gestalten joined the literary ranks and ensured that there was a place for readers of all ages within the world of gestalten. The gestalten narrative exists beyond the textual realm; regardless of the medium at hand, gestalten wishes to inform and inspire our community. We welcome you to enter gestalten's world of creative culture, whether between our pages, indulging in images and films online or at one of our international events. We look forward to the result: mutual inspiration.
Welcome to Design For Today, a small press inspired by a love of mid-century design and auto-lithography. We publish ephemera, objects of curiosity, books to read and touch, and above all, use ‘old school’ craft printing. We always print responsibly, using quality paper and bindings, plant based inks and always at printers that respect human rights and the environment. We collaborate with innovative illustrators, supporting new talent, and inspirational design.

Microcosm Publishing is a fiercely independent publisher and distributor that empowers readers to make positive changes in their lives, their communities, and their world. Our books and zines focus on subjects like gender, self-care, mental health, bicycle culture, punk rock, radical politics, witchcraft, social justice, bodily autonomy, and a community-focused DIY ethos. We built a successful book business by celebrating all the things that mainstream publishing deems too niche or incendiary to take on—and we're growing all the time, thanks to people like you! We also create stickers, pins, patches, card decks, and other unique products to help you express yourself, explore your relationships, and expand your horizons. We began in Cleveland, OH in 1996 and now based out of Cleveland and Portland, OR. In the beginning, we set out to save ourselves from not caring. But out here in the margins, we found inspiration in countless folks and communities who make us want to do more, and better. We've professionalized a little from our punk roots (where once we had zines in a milk crate, we now have warehouses), but Microcosm is still fueled by the dream of a better world, motivating us to share the resource we need to get started building it, right now, together.

Caroline Rowland is the founding editor of 91 Magazine, an independent biannual magazine which focusses on creative interiors and lifestyle while championing small independent businesses. 91 Magazine was launched by ex-photo editor Caroline in 2011 when she couldn't find the type of interiors magazine she longed for. One that was aspirational yet attainable, stylish yet affordable and that also told the stories of creative people, their work and their spaces. The magazine started life as a free online publication, but has grown into a coveted print magazine, most comfortable when nestled on the shelves of an independent store or in the hands of an avid reader. In 2023, Caroline moved into book publishing, releasing the first in the PLACES series of books - PLACES to Shop: independent lifestyle stores across the UK, with more to come in 2024. Caroline has been shortlisted twice for Homes & Interiors Editor of the Year at the British Society of Magazine Editors awards, alongside many mainstream titles, proving that following your creative dream is always worth the effort. :)

Wordsworth Editions was established in 1987, but it was the launch in 1992 of the £1 Classic paperback, the brainchild of the late Michael Trayler, that put them in spotlight. This was back in the days before book prices could be discounted so the fact that we could offer titles at a fraction of the cost of existing editions caused something of a sensation, and made them irresistible to lovers of classic literature. Today, Wordsworth Editions ensure that classic literature is made available to everyone in the most beautiful way. We ask customers from outside the United Kingdom to note that some carriers may charge import fees on top of any shipping costs incurred through Faire.
Mum’s the Word is the best selling book series by Rebecca Oxtoby. Voted Best Gift for Mum in 2021, she shares the hilarious, hidden tales of parenthood that InstaMums have cropped out for years: the leaking nipples, the sh*t-stained t-shirts and the truth about those bloody night feeds. These are the brilliantly funny and honest stories that every mother needs to hear - exposing the truth about parenthood. Mum’s the Word gives a refreshingly raw and candid insight into life with a newborn baby; uniting mothers against the Supermum pretence and acknowledging that we’re all just winging it anyway. Rebecca’s dry and undeniably funny stories will test any mother’s pelvic floor to the limit. So grab a Tena lady, latch on and take a seat. Rebecca is now embarking on her next adventure and selling all current stock at less than cost price to release capital for her fifth round of fertility treatment. This unique opportunity to you will support Rebecca in growing her family; and with the huge success of the books so far, will be a financial no-brainer!
