We founded JENKI as an alternative to the big guy, COFFEE, which often made us feel jacked up and jittery. Matcha, a CLEAN GREEN CAFFEINE, mellowed us out whilst keeping us sharp, cranked up our metabolism and pumped us with antioxidants. What's not to love? Matcha has been around for centuries. In Japan, everyone from Samurai warriors to monks have been drinking it to stay focused since the 1100s. Our matcha is hand sourced from the foothills of Uji. Tencha tea leaves are shaded for 4 weeks, before being stone-ground, with stems and veins removed, leaving just the good stuff; a sweet and mellow matcha powder, loaded with focused energy, calming l’theanine and antioxidants.
