Lu Lu came to our farm as a companion for my Thoroughbred mare Winnie because my gelding Bones was past 30. A friend dropped Dolly a Nubian off (great friend hey!) and soon I made so much cheese my family was going to run away. What should I do with all the milk? Freeze it and make soap. After several flops and messes, I found a recipe that I liked. Bam! More soap than we could use so let's torture the unsuspecting people coming to the farm for their Free Range Turkeys. Throw a couple of bars in an organza bag as a gift and I thought I solved the problem! NO WAY! They loved it so I made more soap and then tried making lotion. Now that was a disaster but I finally created a recipe that was not oily, watery and used a small amount. AGAIN tested it on family, neighbors and farm clients thus creating a GA (Goats Anonymous) support group. Time to be a Nana, natural belly balm and nipple cream followed by butt, hinny paste tried on all the neighbors bottoms. Shave bars w/bentonite clay for men was developed then then wives wanted a shave bar. Family requests! Ha Ha! Beard Balm, Body Butter, Shower Polish, Lip Balm, and other creations were created to add to the growing line.
