In a market saturated by acrylic and polymer jewelry, kiln-fired porcelain gems never fail to stand out. I sell illustrated porcelain jewelry and tiny thoughtfully designed ceramic decor for small apartment living (inspired by my own tiny nyc apartment!) Everything is handmade by me here in Brooklyn, and I am always striving to use less waste and more recycled materials in my process. My designs are sold in markets all across Brooklyn and NYC. Ceramics had always been something that brought joy into my day. It was something I could looked forward to after long stressful hours working as a designer in Manhattan. Like a lot of people, my life experienced a lot of sudden painful changes and losses during the start of the pandemic. I am so grateful I had this outlet to act as a lifeline. Whenever life events made me want to spiral, sculpting cute little porcelain animals became a soothing balm. Life can be hard, but it's ok to take time to enjoy the small things that make you happy.
