Kristie Smith began a small company When Pegs Fly Learning during the pandemic. After 38-years of teaching, Kristie opened a tutoring facility. When forced to close her educational facility because of Covid, she began making and selling wooden toys with a special interest in peg doll learning. She soon realized how quickly children learned when engaged with open-ended-play.
