Soway is a French brand specializing in anti-UV products. Through meetings with dermatologists and other skin specialists, the founder of Soway, Marie-Claire Castagné, realized that there was a missing element in the sun protection market: a featherweight hat that offers very high sun protection and stays cool under the sun. We all know that hats protect from the sun, but they do not all protect in the same way, just like sunscreens, which do not all have the same protection index. The goal of Marie-Claire, supported by her husband and later her daughter, was to create the most protective hat possible. Yes, a protective hat often means a hat that is warm and heavy (due to the very tight weave necessary to achieve this high protection), which people tend to remove. The winning trilogy, "Performance, Lightness, and Freshness," thus permanent protection because it is comfortable, has been the guiding principle of the years of research and development conducted by the company. Today, this goal has been achieved. Indeed, the "Soway" is a product that combines 3 qualities never before united in a single hat: - ANTI-UV: VERY HIGH SUN PROTECTION: UV Protection 50+, Australian and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 4399, the strictest, - FEATHERWEIGHT (less than 100 grams): it stays on the head, - ANTI-INFRARED: it repels heat and stays cool under the sun.
