Our Story It was Robert Tisserand’s mother who first introduced him to aromatherapy, leading to a passion for the subject that continues to this day. At the age of 17, on a train taking him back to boarding school, Robert decided that he wanted to share the benefits of essential oils with others, to improve their health and happiness. His vision was to bring essential oil based products into everyone’s home. After years of studying and practising as an aromatherapist, Robert started the Aromatic Oil Company in 1974, from his bedroom in a South London house. During the next 11 years, despite financial struggle and discouragement from others, Robert hand-bottled the oils, hand-wrote the label for each bottle and packed the parcels that he would dispatch to customers every Saturday morning from his local post office. Having taken eight years to write it, Robert’s first book – The Art of Aromatherapy – was published in 1977. In his book, Robert talks about nature, life force, the planets and the elements. It was in 1984 that a new company, Aromatherapy Products Ltd, was formed, allowing Robert to act as essential oil and formulations consultant, fully utilising his years of experience. Welcome to Belen Berganza shop, ceramic artist based in Perth, Western Australia. I create unique, contemporary, sustainable handmade ceramics using porcelain and earthenware. I want to offer products that are not disposable, have a timelessness and are worthy of being passed on through the generations. Belen Berganza first shop was created in 1993 in a little town in the north coast of Spain (at that time its name was Bigbamboo). It was originally a gift shop with a "surfing character". The first porcelain pendants that I made where little surfboards and flowers. After a trip around the coast introducing the new line of pendants, they became so popular in the surf shops, that BB started to grow very fast. And BB moved overseas changing and evolving through the different stages as I did. Each design starts with a masterpiece that I hand carve with tools that I make to suit each design. Then a mould is produced, the clay is hand pressed, the edges softened and then fired. I studied ceramics for four years in Madrid, which enabled me to combine my love of art with the formal training necessary to develop high quality ceramics.

We founded Bloomtown in 2016 after spending two years in Indonesia and witnessing first-hand the devastation caused by palm oil cultivation: the loss of virgin forest that is home to endangered orangutans, tigers and so much of the world's biodiversity. We strictly follow the practices outlined in the Good Manufacturing Guide and all our formulations have cosmetic product safety approval. All our products are handmade in small batches in our workshop in Wokingham, Berkshire, UK. My name is Calley and I am the founder of Scentsational Sizzlers. I started my home fragrance business at the tail end of 2019, purely by accident! I was doing a daily scroll through social media and came across an advert looking for distributors of this new and exciting alternative product to wax melts which are cleaner, easier and safer to use, called sizzlers. Intrigued, I signed up and my first delivery was dished out around friends and family to test the waters. Needless to say, the sizzlers were a massive hit! After a few months of trading, I had discovered the perfect recipe and proceeded to make them myself. From here, I have had 2 retail shops and have supplied one of the UK’s largest gift wholesalers. Now down to one big shop premises in my hometown, my products are selling better than ever!
