khromo+philia was born out of a desire to create unapologetically colorful accessories for you, your home and every person in your life. We are POC woman owned brand that creates high end acrylic, resin, cellulose acetate and powder coated products. We are inspired by the whimsical world around us and the various beings that occupy it. Everything is hand made or designed in our studio in Louisville. We take immense care, pride and joy in creating every little khromo+philia piece and pay attention to the most minute details. We buy our raw materials exclusively from other small business to continue the support cycle for others like us and keep monopolies like Amazon out of our supply chain. STEPS WE TAKE TOWARDS BEING A SUSTAINABLE BRAND: 1.All Our hair accessories are produced from cellulose acetate sheets, which are decomposable and are manufactured by in small batches. 2.Our studio is zero waste where our remnants are repurposed into new custom sheets which are then turned into our jewelry and home decor parts. 3.Our studio, supply chain and shipping is 100% carbon neutral, we accomplish this by our partnership with ecologi. 4.All are packaging is made using soy based inks and recycles paper and is 100%compostable. We are member of the eco package alliance.
