Hello! My Name is Adriana and I own Ocote Azul Handmade. I Am an Indigenous Mexican American woman and have been selling Handmade Indigenous Art alongside my mother for as long as I could remember. A few Years ago, I found myself selling Alebrijes and other handmade figurines at street fairs and Art Events here in Arizona. I then Started Wholesaling to Gift Shops, Restaurants, Weddings and Quinceñeras. People were Soo intrigued with Alebrijes and this is when I knew that this was the introduction to my growing business. Along the way we've been able to directly and indirectly help the livelihood of the Indigenous communities of the Mixtec Region. I like to Promote and help my People of Oaxaca, as well as offer unique, high quality detailed art to customers. Many of the artist that I have meet and continue to work with only speak native language Mixtec and live in Rural and impoverished Areas of Oaxaca. I have always felt like it was my duty to be the bridge that connects the creative artist to the creative customer. I'm excited to continue growing and adding more designs and products to our store.
