Nicky’s work begins with hand-made felt, shaped into stylized birds, flowers, and other natural motifs. Each piece is edged with metal zips and delicately hand-embroidered for a vivid pop of colour and texture. By mounting these components at different heights with small pins, Nicky creates subtle shadows that bring depth and dimension to her designs. Once completed, the artwork is professionally photographed, capturing every tiny stitch and unique detail, and then transformed into high-quality greeting cards.
