About BIAAF

BIAAF's Fashion Lab is an entrepreneurial platform for the emerging fashion designers who have been discovered by BIAAF's biannual international competition. Biaaf's Art & Fashion competition, chaired by Sara Sozzanni Maino, Head of Vogue Talents, has already reached over 5,000 emerging designers from over 90 countries, coming from the most renowned fashion design schools worldwide, aiming for intercultural enrichment by showing the different approaches of fashion towards art and the promotion of fashion as a true cultural value. BIAAF'S Advisory Committee is composed of personalities coming from the world of Culture, Academy, and Fashion Industry, and we count with PhD. Valerie Steele, Director and Chief Curator of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. as Honorary President as well as Mr. Juan Ignacio Vidarte, Director of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, among others. Biaaf's Fashion Lab guides and mentors emerging fashion designers by creating capsule collections for BIAAF that are unique, innovative and sustainable.
