UK Alpaca is proud to offer you this alpaca yarn made from the fleeces of alpacas farmed in Britain and Ireland. One of the noble fibres, alpaca is softer, more luxurious, stronger and more resilient than the finest sheep wool. UK Alpaca is a family business run by Chas Brooke and Rachel Hebditch from our farm in Devon. We have 100 pedigree alpacas on farm and also buy fleece clips from over 120 other alpaca farms in the UK. The fleece is hand graded and classed by us on our farm before being sent for processing to our yarn specifications in and around the Yorkshire Area. Our high quality, luxury alpaca tops are blended with a little silk or wool and spun fully worsted to create luxurious dyed and natural yarns with British provenance.
