Environment Friendly. __________________________ Papital Gallery™ is an upcoming brand of Handmade Jewelry and Accessories from Iran. Papital [پاپیتال] is the Farsi name of the evergreen Ivy plant. We are dedicated to reintroducing the amazing artistic heritage of Tiles and Tile Making in the form of gorgeous handmade accessories. Every piece is carefully made by hand. The design, material and techniques are all inspired by the ancient art of Tile Making. Our designs reflect on the original tile patterns found in many historical monuments, and mosques all over ancient capitals, and cultural hubs in the golden age of Islamic Architecture. Papital was born in early 2016 by a group of young artisans living in Tehran. They had a vision of re-introducing the mesmerizing heritage of Tile making, as a medium for unique, delicate and yet affordable Handmade Jewelry and accessories. So far despite all the challenges, thanks to the help and support of Ghalb-e Sefid Charity, and also our team’s efforts in training and workshops, we are proud to have been able to train more than 50 women in design and production of marketable handmade jewelry. Overall Papital Gallery has provided direct income for 15 people in design, production and sales of handmade Jewelry.Read their story
