Proper Good is a fast-growing, personality-filled home and gift brand that was born during the 2020 lockdown. The business started as a passion project from Abbie’s bedroom floor and has grown year-on-year into the worldwide market. In 2022 Abbie began to take part in pop ups and markets across the UK, including the likes of the Trafford Centre Boots, and was blown away by the response at each event. From here the brand has seen notable growth in the wholesale market and has since been stocked by the likes of Oliver Bonas, Anthropologie and Wolf & Badger, along with independent stores across the UK, Europe, US, Australia and Canada. The Proper Good team now consists of Abbie and her two assistants Aimee and Gabs who fulfil all stockist orders from their two Manchester-based studios. Proper Good’s stockist orders are printed on demand, framed, packed and shipped from their Manchester production studio. This in-house production allows for the team to meet high quality standards, respond quickly to any custom requests and work closely with their stockists. Artwork is giclée printed on archival matte paper which is made to last, before being framed using FSC certified mouldings that are handmade in London. In addition to stockists, Proper Good have collaborated with brands such as Roland DG, Skinny Dip, Sweaty Betty and Papier and have been featured in editorials from British Vogue, Tatler, World of Interiors and GenLux.

Bonbi Forest is a home of sorts to the illustrated wares of artist, illustrator and author Lee Foster-Wilson. Lee grew up in the Cornish countryside surrounded by nature and her family’s menagerie of animals. The shapes and colours of nature always seem to make an appearance in her work no matter what she is drawing. Lee enjoys observing the relationship of people to nature and to each other, often defined in the phrases, text and weird and wonderful celestial and mystical symbols she likes to add to her pieces. Lee started Bonbi Forest in 2006 after graduating from her Fine Art degree at the University of Brighton as a way to get her artwork out into the world. The range has evolved over the years into a beautiful range of jewellery, accessories, art prints, cards and stationery all featuring her colourful and thoughtful artwork. Lee is also a freelance illustrator represented by Jehane LTD and has authored two books with Quarto, Creative Marker Art and Beyond and The Grown Up’s Guide to Making Art with Kids. She currently lives back in the Cornish countryside in a converted threshing barn with her family. Each and every Bonbi Forest order is made and packed in her studio there. She hopes you like what you see!

FabFunky started like many great things... entirely by accident. Launched by Kelly Stevens-McLaughlan, the artist behind all of our designs, Kelly didn't actually start to draw or paint until she was in her mid forties and is entirely self taught. Much to Kellys surprise people immediately started to ask to buy her images and prints, and FabFunky was born. Our first product and the one that gained us worldwide recognition, was our whimsical and slightly eccentric animal illustrations printed on to the pages of books from the 1800s. Each print is unique, as every page is an original, making them one of a kind treasures. These timeless prints offer a piece of history with a modern artistic twist. It wasn't long before we expanded into homewares and demand for these has been huge particularly in the USA. Our luxury cushions & unique lampshade range has continued to grow, featuring designs that span from traditional to eclectic contemporary styles. With Kelly's vast imagination we cater to all tastes. All our products are handmade to order in the UK and crafted to the highest standards. Don't just take our word for it, check out our reviews page. Recently Kelly has moved into painting original designs on acrylic canvas. Now a member of the Devon Artist Network, her original artwork is exhibited in galleries across the UK Read more about Kelly in Fabric Magazine: https://issuu.com/forwardww/docs/fabric_december_2023/64

Hi, I’m Clare and I am a textile artist living on The Ashdown Forest, East Sussex. With a background in studying textile design at art schools in London and Surrey, I create mixed media paintings that showcase my love of nature and wildlife. With these designs I have developed an exclusive giftware range featuring 100% eco considerate greeting cards, stationery and gifts. I take much of my inspiration from the natural surroundings of where I live, capturing the seasonal changes and gathering materials from walks on the forest with my daughter and trusty pug, Sniff. I am a keen collector, and surround myself with an eclectic mix of items throughout my home. I take great pleasure in these items, which I source from near and far: anywhere from local boot fairs and yard sales to antique centres around the world. Never one to follow the “less is more” approach, I find by decorating my home with objects I love allows me to further express my creative side, and this is also reflected in my work. Intricate layers of newspaper, collage and scripts are all elements I return to again and again. My work has been described as capturing the animal world in a divinely beautiful way.
