About A Secret Forest

A Secret Forest started on a bit of a whim in Los Angeles in 2013. After graduating culinary school, owner Vanessa Beller baked and caked her way all around LA. Her love of confection led her to create artisan lollipops one night at her dining room table. On the advice of a friend to open an Etsy shop, selling them to a few friends on Twitter, and posting a photo of them on Tumblr (remember Tumblr?) that ended up leading to tens of thousands of reposts, A Secret Forest was born. Working with brands large and small, we've had the honor to create gorgeous products for brands, boutiques, burlesque queens, and rock and roll superstars. It really is such a treat to get to make beautiful candy. We had make everything in small batches and use the finest ingredients available. Most of the designs that we offer are hand painted and cut.
