TiDBiTS is proudly a mother-founded brand. Hi, we’re Kristi and David, married entrepreneurs, parents of two little boys, and co-founders of TiDBiTS. We both grew up enjoying candy, binging on the sugary classic brands and then crashing from an overload of sugar and processed ingredients. Now that we’re adults, we've struggled to find a healthier candy option that has the same nostalgia and addictive quality as those processed-sugar bombs but is actually something we can share and make sweet guilt-free memories with our children. In the end, we simply couldn't find anything. Even the “better for you” options had ingredients such as allulose, isomalto-oligosaccharides, artificial coloring, and even corn syrup. Not to mention, they didn't taste good either! In our research we discovered that the average American consumes 8 pounds of candy per year (even more for children). Yikes! Yet almost every candy in the aisle is stuck in the old production of processed, corn syrup based "treats." We experimented for over a year to create a gummy that tastes as delicious as the old-school candy we grew up on, but with an upgraded and modern twist for the health-conscious customer.
