Hi, Welcome to About Wall Art! My name is Mae, and I am an illustration artist based in the UK with a background in fine art, illustration, and textile design. I've had the pleasure of working with some fantastic international brands throughout my career, but my real passion has always been Illustrating. I'm inspired by travel, architecture, and the people I meet along the way - the whole creative process is my happy place. In early 2020, I launched About Wall Art, a platform where I could offer affordable, high-quality, and unique artwork from myself and other talented illustrators. It's been an absolute honour to see my work selling all over the world. In a world that's increasingly dominated by technology and a fast-paced, hectic lifestyle, I believe it's important to reconnect with the natural beauty around us. I'm Lisa Delorme, a mom, wife, and former graphic designer who loves all things rustic and all things metal. I decided to combine the latter two and start a product line of rustic, metal home decor. I am blessed to be able to hand-make all of my products right here on our property and still be a stay-at-home mom. All items are intended to look like they just came down off the side of an old barn or mercantile. I started slowly six years ago with just metal letters that I sold at local antique shows and have now expanded to include many different shapes and signs for all holidays, occasions and every-day life.

After the death of her grandfather, Kami found feathers of all varieties. Intrigued by the natural beauty of these gifts, she developed a technique to create a cold-formed copper feather. Kami researched feather symbology and was amazed to find that different cultures found feathers to hold special meanings to those who found them. As an artist looking to connect with others, she discovered the feather to be a unifying symbol throughout humanity. Expanding on this concept, each copper feather is as unique as the person it calls to. Just like we are, no two pieces are ever the same. That simple idea blossomed into a growing handmade business, and has expanded to include other copper artworks with the intentional aim to inspire— each piece is created to help buyers to heal from loss, motivate, encourage, or spread positivity. No molds dies, or stamps are ever used. Oxidations and metallic finishes are painted on each piece individually, and then sealed. It is the hope of TLS to allow customers to have meaningful unique pieces that serve as a beautiful reminder of the gifts the world gives us if one cares to look.
